Michael Keaton is about to show the world the dark side of fame.
Riggan Thomson (Keaton) is a washed-up actor who once garnered the love of millions portraying film superhero Birdman. Now he must set his ego aside to regain the limelight.
Director Alejandro González Iñárritu introduces the audience to a world where once-superstars become forgotten creatures, lingering in the background and fantasizing about their former glory. (Eventually they all go running down city streets in their underwear, amiright?)
The film, also starring Emma Stone, Edward Norton, and Zach Galifianakis, hits theaters this fall.
