The repurposed black-and-white photo — complete with a toothy grin, tats and LOTS of side boob — is plastered over Aussie mag Who. This naked cover is not the kind you gawk at. Gear up for a lesson in self-esteem.
“I’m in the best shape of my life,” the mother of 3-year-old Willow admitted.
As someone who is constantly putting her body on display (cleverly strapped body suits and pasties galore), body confidence remains a huge issue with the “Try” singer.
“I’m a person who could always lose a couple [pounds] here and there,” she said, admitting she’s been patient with herself. “But I would rather be strong than bony.”
Strong, she is. Pink, born Alecia Moore, grew up as a gymnast, and has continued her skills with acrobatic performances — from 2009’s “Sober” at the VMAs to her most recent performance of “Try” at the 2014 Grammys.
While she says she gained 10 pounds since her pregnancy, that doesn’t seem to affect her confidence, baring it all proudly on the mag’s cover.
Pink hopes her daughter will has a similar view of her own body, reflecting the same sense of self.
“She said to me the other day, ‘Mama, on Tuesday I think we should get naked and have a naked booby butt dance party.’ I was like, I’m in!’ ” Pink said.
