"Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin has joined Twitter, and his first Tweet is pretty much exactly what you would expect from the reclusive writer. Though if his first Tweet is any indication, he might not be the most active person to follow:
I don't tweet all that much, please check out my live journal page. ;) #myfirstTweet— George RR Martin (@GRRMspeaking) June 9, 2014
Martin isn't lying about livejournal, either. He links to the blog in his profile, and updates it almost daily. Considering Martin said recently that he also still uses MS DOS, it's not too big a surprise.
The writer already has 21.9 thousand Twitter followers as of this writing, though he follows only 15 people — most of them "Game of Thrones" actors, of course. We're sure he'll Tweet them his condolences after he kills them.
Martin's joined just in time, as the Season 4 finale is this Sunday, and we absolutely cannot wait to see the massive Twitter trolling Martin's going to do — fingers crossed — after it airs.
