"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is a huge success. And like anything in Hollywood, one success breeds a group of imitators. So what if yet another franchise decided to bring together its casts from two timelines, to fight the ultimate battle to save the world?
If that happened, there's only one... well, two obvious choices: the cast of HBO's "Sex and The City" teaming up with the cast of The CW's "The Carrie Diaries."
Seems far-fetched? How different, really, is Carrie's voiceover monologues than Professor X's similar monologues at the beginning of the "X-Men" movies? And are the lavish costumes worn by Marvel's mutants really that far off from the lavish costumes worn by the "Sex and the City" characters? Plus, they're both metaphors for homosexuality. Obviously.
So what do you think? Do you want to see the world's most shopping-conscious teams join to face the world's greatest sales? And more importantly, are you a Wolverine or a Samantha?
