Laurel Removes Her ‘Free Agents’ Game Face For Soothing Acoustic Set

The intense competitor shows a gentle side through music.

When it comes to competition, Laurel Stucky might leave you to die of thirst before offering a sip from her canteen, but when the finish line has been crossed, and the adrenaline slows, she can actually be pretty sensitive. The “Free Agents” alpha female was recently caught crooning through an intimate set in New York City, and her tone is so subdued and delicate in the clip below, you might have to watch it twice to convince yourself it’s her!

“I’m just fake playing the guitar here,” Laurel jokingly tweeted of her performance, which was posted to YouTube by her pal Milena Arciszewski. Surrounded by exposed brick and books, Laurel and her concert partner tackle “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac, and if you close your eyes, you might swear you’re listening to Stevie Nicks herself. Who knew Laurel was such a softie?! Does this mean Aneesa can breathe easy for a second?

Watch the video, and if you’re missing Laurel’s more cutthroat side, be sure to catch her on the next “Free Agents” episode Thursday night at 10/9c!
