Iggy Azalea Addresses Her 'Fancy' Flub On 'Dancing With The Stars'

The Aussie rapper takes to Twitter to explain what went down.

With a new prom theme and revamped choreography, Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX's "Fancy" performance on last night's "Dancing With The Stars" finale should have gone off without a hitch. The only problem? The Australian emcee fumbled the opening, dropping "First things first, I'm the realest" a measure too soon.

After trying and failing to jump back in a couple times, the "Problem" rapper momentarily broke character: "I'm so sorry, but there's something wrong with my ear."

Iggy might be fancy, but I guess her playback earpiece didn't already know-ow.

It's unfortunate that this far-from-epic fail all happened on live TV, but at least Iggy didn't let it defeat her. By "Taking all the liquor straight, never chase that," she was back in the game to finish off the performance like a pro. Plus, it's pretty cool that she didn't shy away from the flub, taking to Twitter to address the sitch head-on.

I can only imagine what it would be like to screw up on live TV. How would you recover? I feel like I'd be too deep in the #shamespiral to even hoedown my way out of it à la Ashlee Simpson. Anyway, better luck next time, Iggy.
