Your answer should be "yes" and "yes." And now, the actor is explaining the scandalous, naked mirror pic.
"There's a lot to get straight here," Franco said Thursday night on "The Late Show with David Letterman." "To me, it's a fun thing. It's something I don't put a ton of thought into. But it gets a lot of attention. I have a lot of followers on Instagram."
The audience erupted when Letterman casually pulled up the hairy, half-naked photo. Still, Franco claims that the picture wasn't meant for everyone to see.
"It's not that I'm putting that on billboards," Franco said. "Ostensibly, Instagram is for my fans, but now all the bloggers are following me on there, so they'll just take it and use my images for whatever they want.
"I didn't ask you to look at it," he said, prodding Letterman. "It's what the people want!"
And if anyone still has a problem with his Instagram activity, he has one simple warning:
"If you don't want to see it, don't follow me."
