T.I. Is As Hungry As Ever On 'Turn It': Listen

Tip is back with a brand new track.

It's been a year and a half since T.I. released his last album, Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head, and if his new song is any indication, he's hungry on the mic as he readies new music.

"Turn It," Tip's latest release, pairs the Atlanta rapper with DJ Toomp, who has produced numerous cuts for him throughout his career. The track channels the vigor that we've heard from the Grand Hustle CEO often over the last decade-plus, and feels particularly reminiscent of some of his work on 2003's Trap Muzik and 2008's Paper Trail.

T.I.'s next album, Paperwork: The Motion Picture, is supposed to drop later in 2014, and late last year, he stopped by "RapFix Live" to offer some hints about the sound.

“All I’ma say is, it’s gonna be a motion picture, it’s gonna be a theatrical-worthy title," he told Sway. "Something that will definitely seem instant classic.”

A video for "Turn It," whose trailer you can watch above, should drop soon.
