The special will follow the four young people, ages 14-24, who, until recently, may not have felt safe sharing their lives with others. Hailing from all across the country, they each have a unique story to tell — not about feeling “other,” but about being human and living their lives authentically.

The special, executive-produced by Cox — recent recipient of GLAAD’s Stephen F. Kolzak Award — will follow the four as they overcome challenges like intolerance and bullying while trying to help their friends, family and, ultimately, America, understand what’s happening and why.
