Drew Barrymore's family just got a little bigger. The"Blended" star and her husband, art consultant Will Kopelman, welcomed their second daughter on Tuesday (April 22).
"Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman," the couple told People in a statement. "Olive has a new little sister, and everyone is healthy and happy!"
Just two days before giving birth, Barrymore posted photos to her Instagram account showing her satisfying her pregnancy cravings with a little Dim Sum brunch.
Barrymore announced her second pregnancy back in November and admitted on the I "Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she did get "bigger" during her second pregnancy because she would "just eat everything I want, which isn't healthy."
"My doctor the other day was like, 'Yeah, so I think maybe pull back a little bit' and I was like 'really?," she said. "I thought I was doing great! I still fit into those jeans, I mean, they hurt when I wear them but I'm still in them...'"
Back in September of 2013, Barrymore told InStyle magazine that she had every intention to expand her family since she was an only child and "it was lonely."
"Some people love it and thrive on the independence, but I want my kids to have other kids around," Barrymore said. "Maybe two kids so they can run around life together, roll their eyes at their parents together like Rusty and Audrey Griswold from '[National Lampoon's] Vacation.' So however that's going to come about, it's gonna happen!"
Their new baby girl joins the couple's 19-month-old daughter Olive. Barrymore and Kopelman tied the knot in June of 2012 in an intimate ceremony at Barrymore's Montecito, California home. Celebrity guests included friends Cameron Diaz, Jimmy Fallon Busy Phillips and Reese Witherspoon.
