Unfortunately for Chris Brown, there's no filter option for mug shots. Months after he was arrested in Washington, D.C., the singer's mug shots from his arrest last October were obtained and released Thursday (April 17) by CBS affiliate WUSA9.
In the photos, the "Loyal" crooner is shown wearing a white thermal top and sports disheveled blonde hair, a goatee and a very uninterested facial expression. In the side shot, there appear to be bruises on Brown's face. One contusion sits just above his right brow, while the other is on his right cheek.
Brown was arrested in October of last year after allegedly assaulting outside of a D.C. hotel. His assault trial is set to begin in D.C. on April 21.
Brown has been in custody since March 14 ,when he was arrested for violating his probation after getting kicked out of rehab in Los Angeles. The Virginia native was then transferred from Men's Central Jail in L.A. to a D.C. area facility via a five-day, cross-country federal Con-Air flight to await his trial.
Both Brown and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, are being tried for misdemeanor assault and a judge, not a jury of their peers, will decide their fates. If convicted, Brown faces a maximum sentence of 180 days in jail and a fine up to $1,000.
