50 Cent has been on a tear lately, dropping music to support his June 3 album, Animal Ambition. But that's not the only project the G-Unit giant is promoting: He also has "Power," a new dramatic cable series that he's executive-producing for STARZ.
To support the series, Fif released the show's theme song and supporting video on Tuesday (April 8). "Big Rich Town" features R&B singer Joe and 50 reflecting on their humble beginnings. "I never took a straight path nowhere/ Life's full of twist and turns, bumps and bruises/ I live, I learn," Fif raps to set off his verse.
The Eif Rivera-directed video captures the ups and downs. For the main shot, we see 50 and Joe on a New York City projects rooftop, and in supporting scenes, the rapper rides the subway with a love interest. Our rap hero doesn't stay down for long though: As the video continues, he shows up in a sleek-looking chrome and neon green Lamborghini Aventador roadster.
As the release date for Animal Ambition draws closer, 50 is ramping up the promo, dropping a new song and video every week. He has already released "The Funeral," "Hold On," "Don't Worry 'Bout It" with Yo Gotti, and the Dr. Dre-produced "Smoke."
"What's really cool about it is I feel like the underdog again," Fif told MTV News of his state of mind leading up to the LP. "Overall, the project is about prosperity."
