Put on your American Apparel underwear and make sure to get their name tattooed in an arrow heart because 5 Seconds Of Summer are headed your way.
Next month the boys from Australia will be making their way overseas to kick off their first North American headlining tour in support of their EP, She Looks So Perfect which drops in the U.S. on April 1.
MTV News got on the phone with half of the pop-punk group, Michael Clifford and Ashton Irwin, on Friday (March 21) and they told us what fans can expect on tour.
“Just expect loads of energy on stage, you can expect guitars… basically one big party,” Ashton said, as Michael added, “It’s hard to explain as well, it’s a party, but it’s kind of different. It’s kind of intimate with our fans. You have to kind of watch one to know what it’s like.”
If you can’t catch them on tour, fear not: They’ll be back in the U.S. in August, accompanied by some pretty famous friends: One Direction.
5SOS will open for 1D on their Where We Are Tour, marking the second time the group has opened for the boy band.
“We just waited and they asked us to come back out again,” Ashton said. “It was amazing, it’s gonna be so huge for them and they are going to put on an amazing show and hopefully so are we. It’s going to be an amazing time.”
The guys, who admitted they “might get incredibly nervous” the first night performing in front of arena crowd, have become close friends with the guys of 1D, who have actively shown their support for 5SOS on Twitter.

“They are really sweet guys and they support us so much and hopefully they let us support them back,” Ashton said. “We have nothing but good things to say about them, they are such hard working.”
Well, maybe not all good things since the guys revealed that Harry Styles pulled quite a memorable prank on them while on the road.
“All I remember is Harry coming in to our room, stealing all our fruit, throwing fruit at us, tipping our tables over and running away naked,” Michael said laughing. “It’s traumatizing.”
