Puns Are Coming: Watch The 'Game Of Thrones' Cast Tell Their Best Bad Jokes

Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams and more share favorite terrible quips for a 'Game of Groans.'

There's a frequently repeated joke about "Game of Thrones" creator George R.R. Martin. Why doesn't the author use Twitter? Because he already killed all 140 characters.

And if you thought that was bad we've got a million more, as we asked the usually dead serious (at least on TV) "Game of Thrones" cast to tell us their favorite bad jokes while at the New York red carpet premiere of the show.

Then we put those jokes together for a little something we like to call "Game of Groans."

Though some cast-members wouldn't tell us a joke for fear of offending the audience (we're looking at you, Peter Dinklage), others told jokes so grim they could only be from a cast-member of one of the most frequently death prone shows in TV history.

Because in the game of groans, you pun... Or you die.

Also, Bran's (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) joke is spectacular, particularly if you're a science nerd. That is all.

Stay tuned to MTV News for plenty more coverage from the "Game of Thrones" red carpet (and beyond) as we gear up to the premiere of season four, April 6 on HBO.
