There's only one thing that's certain about Kanye West: the man is totally unpredictable. His surprise performance with Rick Ross and Big Sean last night was impressive to say the least. Speaking of impressive, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry gave quite a show Thursday on Twitter, resulting in some rough words and one violent threat. Those, plus Kesha's post-rehab plans and some suggestions for weekend watches are Friday's (March 7) top stories.
Kanye West & Big Sean Join Rick Ross For "Sanctified"
The Arsenio Hall Show has never seen such a surprise. On Thursday night's show, Rick Ross' "special guests" turned out to be none other than G.O.O.D. Music hit makers Big Sean and Kanye West. The three dudes tore through an incredibly turned-up performance of their hit "Sanctified" off Ross' new album Mastermind. As if there was any doubt, just more proof that these artists are the real deal.
Miley Gives Katy A Tongue Lashing, Katy Responds With A Spanking
After Perry appeared on an Aussie morning show and made some snarky comments about the kiss the two singers shared at one of Cyrus' Bangerz Tour shows, the "Adore You" singer responded with some snark of her own, targeting Perry's ex-boyfriend John Mayer. "Girl if ur worried abt where tongues have been good thing ur ex boo is ur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT [tongue] been."
The tweet had everyone on the edge of their seat. Was this the end to one of our favorite duos? Perry put it to rest when she tweeted back, "Oooo gurrrl I'm gonna give you the BIGGEST spanking when I see you in the UK bb!" All's fair in French kissing, I guess.
Kesha Leaves Treatment, Drops Doller Sign
The "Timber" singer has left the rehab facility that she entered in January for treatment of an eating disorder. Late on Thursday, Kesha took to Twitter (with a new handle that lacks the trademark doller sign) to thank her fans for their support. "Happy to be back!" she wrote. "Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music. I can't thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me." #Animals everywhere are just as happy as you are, Kesha!
Got Plans This Weekend? Now You Do!
Get your Spartan on at "300: Rise of an Empire," opening Friday. Or, if you're more of a Wes Anderson fan than an action fan (and you're lucky enough to live in one of the limited release cities), check out "The Grand Budapest Hotel."
We can't wait to see what "Girls" star Lena Dunham will cook up as host of "Saturday Night Live."
As for Sunday, we're simultaneously ecstatic and depressed about the "True Detective" season finale. Can Ruste and Marty solve the case of the Yellow King? We can't wait to find out.
