It sure is a good year to be a fan of belated sequels to Frank Miller movies. In advance of "300: Rise of an Empire" hitting theaters this Friday, the sequel to 2005's "Sin City" has unveiled its first look at the stylish trailer. Check out the first look at "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" here:
Featuring many of the same actors as the original, including Mickey Rourke and Jessica Alba, the cast also welcomes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin and more. Gordon-Levitt plays a gambler named Johnny caught in a high stakes game of life and death; while Eva Green (who is also in "300: Rise of an Empire") is a femme fatale entangled with Clive Owen's Dwight.
Like the first movie, "A Dame To Kill For" in set in a hyper-realized noir world based on author Frank Miller's classic graphic novels. The movie is once again directed by Miller and Robert Rodriguez; though this time co-director Quentin Tarantino is not on board.
"Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" hits theaters on August 22.
