Hollywood Posts 'Slates For Sarah' In Honor Of Camera Assistant Killed On Set

'Arrow, 'Glee,' other shows show support with memorial film slates.

From small sets to sprawling ones, from Netflix originals to network staples, TV and film crews all over the globe are pausing to honor a lost colleague.

Sarah Jones, a camera assistant on the upcoming Greg Allman biopic "Midnight Rider," was killed last week in a tragic accident while working on set in Savannah, Georgia. Seven other crew members were also injured.

All of us on the production team are devastated by the tragic accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of our crew member.

In memory of Jones, who was a dedicated professional and veteran of many productions including "The Vampire Diaries," friends and colleagues in Hollywood launched "Slates for Sarah," inviting production crews everywhere to post film slates in her honor. Photos and tributes have been pouring in from around the world, with celebrities including Eliza Dushku and Nina Dobrev helping to spread the word.
