Jared Leto is bringing a very special woman in his life to the Academy Awards: his mom.
On Tuesday, the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of a transgendered character in “Dallas Buyers Club,” took a screenshot of himself FaceTiming with his mother, Constance. The shot captures the moment he asked her to accompany him and his brother, Shannon, to the Oscars on Sunday, and her face is priceless.
The screenshot shows Jared and Shannon in the top left corner and their mother’s elated face taking up the screen, wearing an adorable huge smile.
“My mothers face when @shannonleto and I told her she was coming to the #Oscarswith us! :),” Jared captioned the photo.
This won’t be the first awards show Leto’s mother has attended with her son. The two walked the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January.
“I am absolutely blown away by this incredible nomination,” Leto said about his Oscar nom. “I never in my life thought I would have the opportunity to even write these words.”
