Dakota Johnson Reveals The Part Of 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' That's 'Kinda Boring'

Ana Steele herself talks to Vanity Fair about playing the college student.

There are officially 365 days until "Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters, and the anticipation is killing us.

But at least Anastasia Steele herself, Dakota Johnson, has been giving us a little taste of what we can expect from E L James' erotic novel-turned-movie.

The brunette beauty is now featured in Vanity Fair's

March issue. Photographed in a printed grey strapless dress, she revealed what it's been like preparing for the role, and surprisingly, it's "kinda boring."

"A lot of getting into the character's head, in Ana's headspace before she meets Christian, so it's a lot of reading, which I love," Johnson told the magazine. "She's an English major, so that's kinda boring."

Most likely, that will be the only boring part of the flick. Johnson recently told Elle magazine that she "doesn't have a problem" doing anything, which comes in quite handy in this movie, as it follows the unlikely romance of Anastasia, who is looking for love, and billionaire tycoon Christian Grey, played by Jamie Dornan, who's in it for the S&M.

Johnson and Dornan have been snapped filming scenes for the movie in Vancouver, and Johnson admits that so far, so good.

"It's been a very smooth and fun and creative experience," Johnson admitted. "I think going into something like this, you kind of have fears of what it could be like and none of those fears are happening. We all get along really well and the crew's amazing. We're just all trying to make this project the best it can be."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters February 13, 2015.
