Demi Lovato has one goal in mind with her Neon Lights Tour: to blow your mind.
On Tuesday, Lovato gave her Lovatics a little tease of just how she'll do that, posting a 24-second video preview of the tour, which kicks off Sunday, February 9 in Vancouver.
Seriously guys.. I'm SO proud of this show and I promise I will make sure it blows your mind!! This is my best tour yet!!!! #NEONLIGHTSTOUR— demetria lovato (@ddlovato) February 4, 2014
In the clip, the singer is seen strutting her stuff, rocking pink hair and a studded leather jacket before she gets behind the wheel and then takes a dive in the water. Meanwhile, Lovato's song "Neon Lights" plays in the background.
Lovato has also vowed that this tour will be her "best yet," adding that it "represents exactly what kind of artist" she is now. The "Heart Attack" singer is bringing along Fifth Harmony, Little Mix and Cher Lloyd for her girl-powered run.
Helping her bring that vision to life is friend and creative and musical director Nick Jonas, who'll be overseeing video content, wardrobe, lighting and staging, as well as creating new arrangements of her songs for the tour.
Jonas opened up to Rolling Stone about the new gig, which he accepted right around the time the Jonas Brothers decided to call it quits.
"The biggest challenge has been just trying to rethink some of the music and see how we could compliment it with lights and video," he said. "I sat down with the band and said to them, 'You need to step into this like it's a new gig. None of these arrangements are going to sound like the originals, so you need to have an open mind.' "
