Kevin And Danielle Jonas Score With Super Bowl Baby

Baby Alena Rose Jonas was born on Sunday afternoon (February 2) before the big game.

Former Jonas Brothers member Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle Jonas welcomed the birth of their first child on Sunday evening (February 2) just as many were settling in for kick-off of Super Bowl XLVIII.

A picture of mother and child popped up around kick-off for the NFL championship game in New Jersey, Teaneck-native Kevin's home state.

"We are overjoyed at the birth of Alena Rose Jonas," the first-time parents said in a statement. "She is precious! We could not be more excited to start building our family together. We want to thank our family and friends for their love and support, and our fans for all of their well wishes." The couple, married since 2009, announced
that they were expecting in July.

Earlier in the day, Kevin posted a photo of his wife's vitals as a tip-off that the blessed event was on its way. While his wife shot back with a sleeping snap of the one-time Jonas Brothers senior member and her co-star in "Married to Jonas."

It seems like just yesterday that we found out the reality couple were expecting. "It's true ‪@daniellejonas is pregnant! can't even imagine how excited we are I can't wait to share this with my best friend," wrote Kevin last summer. "I love you baby."

The singer put the couple's fly six-bedroom former Jersey crib for rent
for the game, including use of the home theatre with stadium seating and a 3-D projector. Jonas is welcoming his first-born and moving to a new house less than five months after the sibling band announced they'd parted ways
