Pitbull Adds Some 'Maverick' Flavor To Katy Perry's 'Dark Horse' Remix

Meanwhile, Juicy J teases details about the official video.

Katy Perry brought her witchy powers to the Grammys on Sunday with her theatrical rendition of "Dark Horse." And now the Prism single is getting the Miami treatment. Pitbull has jumped on a remix of the song.

In the leaked version of the remix, Pitbull steps in for Juicy J, who appears on the original version, and adds some of his own swagger to the funky track.

"My life? I took it from back to front/ Rosa Parks," he raps on the song. "Hey Ms. Perry, looking sexy with your fine self/ Wanna little bit of magic?" he later says. "I'm Maverick, Top Gun."

The song's producer, Dr. Luke, first hinted that a version featuring Mr. Worldwide existed earlier this month on Twitter. "@pitbull, great verse on #DarkHorse!!!! @katyperry," he wrote, later clarifying that the Pitbull version isn't official but he got an early listen of it. "Just to clarify.. the only collaboration on Dark Horse is the original with my man @therealjuicyj!!!!"

In addition to the Pitbull version of "Dark Horse," Juicy J told Billboard that a video is in the works for the track and that the KatyCats should expect big things when the twosome hit the set in the near future.

"It's a movie, man. It's a major motion picture," he said. "I know a lot about the video. I got the treatment. I can't really tell you because it's definitely going to be a surprise, but I'll tell you this much right here: you've seen her other videos, this one's gonna be just as big. Everything she does is like grade A."
