MGK is a wild boy, and while there really hasn't been a clear-cut explanation for his rambunctious behavior, we think it may have something to do with the movies he watched as a kid.

"'American Pie' is the ultimate high school movie," the Bad Boy rapper told the crew at MTV's "Retromania: Hip Hop," a new 60-minute 1990s and 2000s homage kicking off on February 1 at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Beginning on Monday (January 27) through Saturday, February 1, viewers of MTV's afternoons will be treated to a collection of hilarious "Retromania" segments that will air in between the network's programming line-up, including the fan-favorite series "Run's House." The week will culminate with the one-hour special, "Retromania: Hip Hop," on Saturday, February 1 at 2:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Everyone from 2 Chainz to Mac Miller and the Backstreet Boys to One Direction are all in on the action.

To kick things off, MGK will reenact the famous pie scene from the original 1999 "American Pie" film, where actor Jason Biggs (as Jim Levenstein) makes sweet love to his mother's homemade apple pie.

"I wanna recreate this scene to basically show all the young kids of America what Jim had showed me: You gotta practice, and a pie is a good way to start," the Laced Up MC says in a preview clip that will air on MTV at 11 p.m. ET.
