Whether you walked away a winner or a loser on Grammy night, there is still a reason to celebrate. From mingling backstage to hitting up the afterparties, A-listers like Katy Perry, John Legend and Jared Leto and Diddy celebrated well into the night.
MTV News has rounded up 11 must-see moments from backstage at the Grammys to the hottest parties in town.
1. Pharrell And His Hat Spread Love
Beyonce and Jay Z gave one of the sexiest performances to date with the show-opening “Drunk in Love,” but even that couldn’t compete with Pharell’s hat, which, along with the super-producer, met up with the couple backstage for a congratulatory hug.
2. Katy Perry Gets Cute With John Mayer
Even though Katy Perry, who swapped her musical Valentino dress for a blue gown, may have gone home empty-handed at the Grammys, but she was still in good spirits as she shared an adorable moment with boyfriend John Mayer at the Sony Music Entertainment official afterparty.
4. A Lorde And A Queen
Taylor wasn’t the only one who shared a moment with the lady of the night, Beyonce did as well. Lorde and Queen Bey shared a moment backstage and both looked equally as excited to meet one another.
5. Front-Row Friends
Another one of Taylor’s BFFs was on-hand, Best New Artist nominee Ed Sheeran. Much like we predicted, the two sat front row together at the Grammy awards, but, unfortunately, we cannot confirm if they were swapping adorable cat stories.
6. Double Date
It was a night to remember for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, who not only gave an unforgettable performance, but took home four gramophones, and cheering them on the entire night were their ladies, Tricia Davis and Jackie Ganger.
7. Jared Leto Is Hungry
Awards shows apparently make Jared Leto hungry. The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman snapped a picture alongside Zedd, who won his first Grammy for Best Dance Recording, with the caption “Me eating grammy winners @Zedd’s face. Congrats brother!”
8. Kacey Musgraves Lights Up
Kacey Musgraves brought her light show to the afterparty. Musgraves and her band, who kept their light-up costumes from her Grammy performance of “Follow Your Arrow,” danced the night away as they celebrated her big win for Country Album of the Year.
9. Meek Mill Throws A Party
Meek Mill knows how to throw a Grammy afterparty bringing out some of hip-hop’s elite including, Diddy, Jermaine Dupri, Nelly and Bow Wow.
10. Bumpin’ And Grindin’
Ciara may not be too far out from delivering her first child with fiancé Future, but she still rocked it as she gave a rousing performance at the official Grammy celebration afterparty.
11. Bruno Mars Gets Starstruck
Bruno Mars may have won Best Pop Vocal Album, but that didn’t stop him from getting a little starstruck when he posed with Paul McCartney.
