Most people will tell you that Daft Punk had the most epic Grammy Awards on Sunday night. Sure, the French robot duo snagged the Album and Record of the Year honors, rocked the stage with Stevie Wonder and looked amazing in their white robot helmets and suits.
Someone might even say that New Zealand teen Lorde ruled the night with her pair of wins and [article id="1721168"]witchy performance[/article] .
But for my money, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis won the night hands-down. Not only did the Seattle supersonic duo (nearly) run the board in the hip-hop categories and pull down Best New Artist, but they did it with their now-signature class and style. And in bad-ass suits!
When seven-time nominee Kendrick Lamar went home empty-handed, Macklemore apologized for [article id="1721204"]"robbing"[/article] his new pal out, which should have surprised nobody who saw the pair's humble, heartfelt acceptance speeches in which they shouted out their fans above all.
Oh, and if you didn't get at least a bit misty watching the [article id="1721184"]mass wedding[/article] during their Madonna-assisted performance of "Same Love," well, maybe you're the robot.
