Justin Bieber's Dad Takes On 'The Enemy' After Son's Arrest

Jeremy Bieber tweeted to fans to 'believe in the truth' after his son was arrested in Miami on Thursday.

Justin Bieber's dad, Jeremy Bieber, has a message for all the haters in the wake of his son's arrest on Thursday in Miami. Bieber's dad took to Twitter on Friday morning (January 24) to break his silence about his son's headline-making arrest.

"I can protect my kids, but I can't protect them from you and your lies. Believe in the truth not in the lies of the enemy. #reallife," he wrote, likely referencing a report that suggested he was with Bieber when he was taken into custody early Thursday morning on suspicion of DUI, resisting arrest nonviolently and driving on an expired license. Bieber's mom, Pattie Mallette, has yet to comment on the incident.

Whether or not he was on site at the time of the drag racing incident, Jeremy was in Miami with Justin. On Wednesday, he joined his 19-year-old son for a trip to the beach.

Jeremy Bieber is the latest person from the singer's inner circle to comment on the arrest. Manager Scooter Braun, Ariana Grande (who is also managed by Braun) and Lil Za all sent words of encouragement to the singer.

"@justinbieber love you and i will act in the manner of someone who truly cares. that is all I have to say," Braun tweeted. "thanks for all those concerned."
