Lil Za Lashes Out After Bieber Egg Raid Arrest

Justin's houseguest takes to Twitter to set the media straight.

Last time we heard from Lil Za, he was "fine" following his arrest on felony drug possession charges after an egg raid on Justin Bieber's home, but it seems like he wanted to get something else off his chest.

Lil Za took to Twitter on Thursday (January 16) to clear up some misconceptions about him and to comment on his current situation, which could land him prison time if prosecutors decide to pursue the case.

"Honestly , the media is making me someone I'm not . But only those in my shoes can relate. ... These ppl get paid to make you look bad," @lilza tweeted. before continuing, "Some stuff I've done has been wrong yes. but look at the position I'm in and the color of my skin. Cocaine? Really?"

Lil Za, who was staying with Justin Bieber while the singer's home was being raided for evidence in his alleged egg throwing incident on a neighbor, was originally thought to be in possession of cocaine, but according to TMZ, police now believe that it was Molly, a form of ecstasy, a punishment that could lead to one year in jail.

Lil Za continued on Twitter, adding, "All this time I was home in tx nobody gave a f--- about what Za is doing ..soon as he gets to La he's all over the news."

Lil Za, whose real name is Xavier Smith, was released from prison on Tuesday after being booked for felony narcotics possession and felony vandalism after he damaged a phone in his holding cell.

During a press conference, police confirmed that Bieber was "not connected" to the substance found in his home. However, his egg throwing incident did cause more than $20,000 worth of damages, which is considered a felony.
