Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon's romance has been marred in controversy, but it appears that the constant criticism hasn't stopped the couple from tying the knot.
"@nickdgordon #HappilyMarried. So #Inlove. If you didn't get it the first time that is," Whitney Houston's daughter wrote on Twitter on Thursday using a number of emojis and a posted picture for her hand on top of Gordon's to show off their rings.
Gordon had a special mother-son-like bond with Houston before she died in 2012, and that didn't sit well with the couple's detractors. In July 2013, Bobbi Kris took to Facebook to message about her engagement and deny reports that Gordon was her brother — adoptive or otherwise.
"I'm tired of hearing people say 'eww your engaged to your brother' or 'if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this,'" she wrote. "Let me clear up something, we aren't even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating. My mom knows me better than any of you."
Gordon hasn't said anything about any nuptials on his Twitter page, but on Friday morning (January 10) sent a playful message to Bobbi Kris: "huh huh baby @REALbkBrown we are up. Let's see trouble we will cause today."
MTV News has reached out to Bobbi Kristina's rep for comment but has yet to hear back.
