Lea Michele Won't Back Down In 'Cannonball' Video: Watch Now

The 'Glee' star channels her inner diva in the new clip for her debut single.

Rachel Berry, is that you?

Lea Michele is getting all diva on us in her new music video for "Cannonball," the singer's debut single. The clip, directed by Robert Hales, finds Michele cold and lonely in what looks like an abandoned mansion singing about losing her mind and, finally, letting the light into her life.

The simplistic but visually stunning video places the "Glee" beauty in front of a series of gorgeous backdrops, including a room full of mirrors and another filled with colorful string lights.

Michele recently spoke to MTV News about the piano-driven anthem, revealing that it helped her to heal after the sudden and tragic death of her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith.

"The minute I heard the song, I had a physical reaction to it. For me, it's been my strength," she said of the track, which was co-written by Sia and Benny Blanco and produced by the Norwegian hit-making duo Stargate."I listen to it every day. I know it was brought into my life for a reason. It's really been so helpful for me and I hope it's the same for other people as it's been for me."

"Cannonball" will feature on Michele's highly anticipated album, Louder, due March 4. Among the other revelations from Michele's interview with MTV News was that rock goddess Stevie Nicks, who on Wednesday (January 8) guest starred on "American Horror Story," reached out with words of encouragement following Monteith's death.

"She wrote to me in this letter, that I will find strength through my music. And at the time, it was very early in everything and it was sort of hard to grasp on to the fact that anything could help [me cope with Monteith's death]," Michele said. "But she was right. [Music] is and it has and it will continue to be my source of strength in all of this."

Also on Wednesday, Michele nabbed the People's Choice Award for Favorite TV Gal Pals with her "Glee" co-star Naya Rivera. The duo is currently gearing up for "Glee's" 100th episode, set to air in March.
