While some of the characters on the "Vampire Diaries" turned 100 ages ago, when the CW series returns on January 23, the show will celebrate its 100th episode. And now fans are getting a first look at what will happen during the episode titled "500 Years of Solitude."

From the looks of it, the gang's all here, including all the show's supernatural key players like Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Elena (Nina Dobrev). At some point during the episode, the crew, including Katherine's (Dobrev) vampire/Traveller daughter Nadia (Olga Fonda), will all convene at the Salvatore mansion for some kind of get-together or celebration.

According to Zap2It, the episode will focus on Katherine, who is fighting for her life after her human transformation and falling from a rooftop during the midseason finale. It will also reportedly include a bonding session between the doppelgangers, Elena and Katherine. The episode was written by Julie Plec and Caroline Dries.

MTV News spoke with Candice Accola last month, who opened up about this season of the show, as well as the addition of the Augustine vampire secret society of Whitmore College and what it means for the show's fifth season.

"I think it's impossible for Caroline not to get caught up in the cult. I think she definitely will not shyign away from being involved," she shared. "If anyone's trying to lead a normal life, I think that Caroline is the frontrunner of it. Her biggest concern this year is being heartbroken over Tyler, so I think she's been just as concerned about just trying to get over a broken heart and realizing that that even in her love life she can't even get a break from the supernatural world.

The "Vampire Diaries" airs at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
