Cameron Diaz is rather unlucky in love in the new trailer for "The Other Woman," So it's a good thing she has (unlikely) pals Nicki Minaj, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton to support her through a romantic crisis.
Released on Thursday (December 19), the clip begins with Diaz's lawyer character finding out she's actually the other woman in her relationship with a married man, played by "Game of Thrones" actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Alerted of the situation, Minaj, who plays her sassy assistant, asks Diaz, "You don't think you can take her?"
Diaz soon decides she's going to get back at her cheating man, and her plan kicks into high gear with the help of his wife (Mann) and his other mistress (Upton).
"Revenge has a threesome," the trailer's tagline reads — and that threesome will stop at nothing to get back at the philandering husband, including feeding him female hormones that induce swollen pecs, a side effect of "man-opause."
Of course, there's another guy who seems to offer Diaz's character some welcome distraction: Mann's brother, played by "Chicago Fire" actor (and Lady Gaga's boyfriend) Taylor Kinney.
Directed by Nick Cassavetes ("Alpha Dog," "The Notebook") with a script by Melissa Stack, the film is slated to open in spring 2014. Minaj and crew filmed the movie in New York City earlier this year. And in April, Minaj told MTV News she wanted to explore acting, her "first love."
