Afrojack, Steve Aoki And More Mourn Bingo Players' Paul Baumer

DJs, producers and friends remember the EDM star.

From DJ Pauly D to Afrojack, DJs, producers, and dance music enthusiasts from all over the world are mourning the tragic death of Paul Bäumer, one half of electronic music group Bingo Players.

Bingo Players announced Bäumer's death on Facebook on Wednesday (December 18). He succumbed to his ongoing battle with cancer on Tuesday.

Maarten Hoogstraten, Bäumer's musical partner and friend, has been manning Bingo Players shows solo since Bäumer's diagnosis in July. Last night, Maarten also announced that all upcoming shows have been canceled. Friends and colleagues of Paul have taken to Twitter to express condolences to him, his friends, and his family.

Steve Aoki and Kaskade are just the beginning of the long list of EDM superstars that are feeling the loss of such a talented and esteemed musician and contributor to the world of electronic music.

"Much respect for @bingo_players . Love their music. The world has lost a hugely creative voice. Love to Maarten, + Paul's family." Kaskade wrote.

"really saddened to hear about the loss of a wonderful human." Steve Aoki tweeted. "honored to have known him. rest in peace paul. #paulbaumer @bingo_players"

Dutch DJ/producer Afrojack encouraged his fans to take a moment of silence for Bäumer.

"Jersey Shore"-star-turned-DJ Pauly D also shared a meaningful goodbye.
