'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Star Jamie Dornan Is A Dad

Reports say the 'Fifty Shades' actor has welcomed his first child.

Jaime Dornan is going to be rather busy this holiday season. In addition to filming "Fifty Shades of Grey," the actor and his wife, Amelia Warner, have reportedly welcomed their first child.

Reps for the actor had not responded to MTV News by press time, but according to Us Weekly sources close to the couple say they are new parents. Further details about the baby were not made available. The report further notes that the family will spend the holidays in Vancouver where Dornan is filming "Fifty Shades." The two married in April and confirmed they were expecting in June.

Dornan's star has quickly been rising since he was cast in the big-screen adaptation of E L James' best-selling novel earlier this fall, replacing "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam. He was previously seen in TV shows "Once Upon A Time" and "The Fall."

Dornan, set to play the story's kinky leading man Christian Grey, is joined by Dakota Johnson, who will play his love interest, naive college student Anastasia Steele.

"I'm a fairly worldly guy," Dornan, a former underwear model, told Entertainment Weekly about the movie's erotic plot. "I grew up in a very liberal place. I'm not saying we had a playroom, but I'm not shocked by [the sex in the book]. It's essential to tell the story. I can't believe films that don't invoke the sexual side of it. So it works for me."

Shooting for the highly anticipated film version of the book began in December. It also stars Rita Ora, Dylan Neal, Jennifer Ehle, Marcia Harden, Eloise Mumford, Victor Rasuk and Max Martini Callum, with Sam Taylor-Wood in the director's chair. The film will open February 13, 2015.
