Burglars Try To Spoil Miley's 21st Birthday

On Friday, authorities reportedly responded to a home break-in at an address known to belong to the pop star.

Miley Cyrus' 21st birthday weekend started off sounding like it couldn't go wrong.

On Friday, she kicked off the celebration by hanging with her dogs and returning her eyebrows to a visible color. The next day she hung with MTV all day long. Tonight she's scheduled to take the stage at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles.

But to start out the weekend, burglars apparently put a damper on the entire celebration. On Friday Los Angeles Police responded to a break-in at a home reportedly belonging to the singer, according to various media reports.

Although there were no signs of forced entry, a burglary was first reported Friday afternoon at a home in Studio City, an address known to belong to Miley, according to CNN.

Los Angeles police told CNN that the homeowner said that there was no sign of forced entry, but that personal items were reported stolen.

Miley will still be taking the stage at tonight's American Music Awards and, according to E! News, will be throwing a birthday bash at Beacher's Madhouse in Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel shorty after.
