Katniss Everdeen might be the Girl on Fire, but she isn’t the only one.
What better way to celebrate the release of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” than by seeing all of the Girl on Fire’s fiery predecessors? You’ll see Batman being lit up by Scarecrow and firing up the Batmobile to burn a henchmen, Freddy Kreuger get burned twice almost 30 years apart, and even poor Kenny from “South Park” engulfed in flames after he tries to light his fart, all set to Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire,” because, of course.
Zombies, heroic demons, dark lords of the Sith, masked serial killers, toxic avengers, things from another world; they all give Katniss a run for her money when it comes to, well, being on fire.
“I was just hoping I wouldn’t burn to death,” says Katniss about her blazing entrance in the first film. After watching this supercut, you’ll be thinking the same thing.
