It’s one thing to roll the dice and see if you can score some awesome tickets to see Britney Spears during her Las Vegas residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. It’s another thing to have Brit personally invite you to take a seat in the front row.
Well, she’s doing just that courtesy of the “MTV Presents: Up Close and Personal With Britney Jean” contest, part of the channel’s new cross-platform “All Access” artist campaign. “From the beginning of my career, MTV has always brought me together with my fans,” Spears said. “This is another really cool way and I can’t wait to see the winner at the front row of my show.”
The All Access campaign will bring fans face-to-face with their favorite artists and bands, with Spears kicking off the fun starting Tuesday (November 19). You can enter to win a two-day trip to Las Vegas for you and a friend that includes front-row seats to the “Britney: Piece of Me” show at the Planet Hollywood resort.
Starting today, MTV will begin airing a video message from Britney encouraging her fans to enter via Britney.MTV.com on MTV, MTV Hits, MTV.com, as well as its social media accounts. The last chance to enter will be December 1 at 11:59 p.m. ET, with the winner revealed on December 5.
“With the launch of this campaign, we’ll be actively collaborating with artists to develop jaw-dropping opportunities that will bring them closer to their fans than ever before,” said Amy Doyle, Executive Vice President of Music & Talent Programming and Strategy for MTV. “This is the perfect opportunity to kick off this new initiative. Britney has one of the strongest fanbases on the planet and they’re all itching to see this new show. Imagine seeing it from the front row.”
The Britney fly-away is the latest initiative as part of the ongoing all access campaign, which included the launch last month of the MTV Artists artist discovery, content and access app, exclusively for iPhone.
Spears’ eighth studio album, Britney Jean, is due out on December 3.
