And then there were two. Just weeks after [article id="1716384"]announcing their breakup[/article], two of the Jonas Brothers took the stage together in Mexico on Wednesday night after [article id="1715334"]canceling their fall tour[/article] back in October.
Nick and Joe performed at the Telehit Awards Concert in Mexico City on November 13. According to reports, it was a prior commitment that the two brothers decided to keep, minus older brother Kevin.
No word on what the brothers played during the gig, but both Nick and Joe (who were also the [article id="1716023"]only two brothers to tweet[/article] about their breakup prior to confirming it) Instragrammed photos from the event.
They also sat down together for an interview with TV station Telehit before taking the stage. They only brought up Kevin when they mentioned they wanted to spend time with him for Christmas before [article id="1713340"]he has a baby with wife, Danielle[/article]. They never explained why he wasn't there. But they did almost get into some hot water when it came to another subject.
At one point the two hosts asked if the guys would rather date Miley Cyrus or Selena Gomez. They tried to be political. Nick (who has dated both stars), noted, "You just stirred up a lot more drama than you think ... so we prefer to stay neutral. We're Switzerland in the situation."
It's unclear what the two-person gig actually means for the future of the band. They also [article id="1716563"]teased some solo music[/article], projects and charity work. They previously confirmed some new music is on the way after [article id="1716695"]scrapping their album V[/article].
Prior to this week's mini-reunion, Nick had played a solo gig, Live In the Vineyard in Napa Valley, California, on November 3, where he covered Avicii's "Wake Me Up."
While Kevin didn't make it down to Mexico City for the show, he is prepping to co-host the [article id="1717118"]TeenNick HALO Awards[/article], taking place on Sunday. Nick's cameo on CBS' "Hawaii Five-0" airs Friday. He'll also make his big-screen debut in the upcoming sexy thriller, [article id="1716804"]"Careful What You Wish For,"[/article] out next year.
