Katy has just announced that the "Unconditionally" video will make its broadcast premiere in prime time, on Tuesday, November 19 at 7:53 p.m. ET, as part of "MTV First: Katy Perry 'Unconditionally."
Following the video's debut, Katy will sit down with rapper (and fellow bad bitch) Iggy Azalea for an exclusive 30-minute interview that can be viewed on MTV.com and in the MTV App for iPhone. Fans around the world will also be able to stream the video and interview online at KatyPerry.MTV.tv.
Of course, we know that November 19 is a long way off (like, a week man), which is why today, we're giving you an exclusive sneak peek at the "Unconditionally" video. When Katy spoke to MTV News on the 2013 EMA red carpet, she called the clip "different" than anything she'd ever done before, a video that relies on "beauty and glamour and gorgeous shots," but added that it also features a scene where she gets flattened by a car.
In celebration of the upcoming music video premiere, on Tuesday, November 19, AMTV, MTV Hits, MTV's 24-hour U.S. music channel, and mtvU will feature Katy Perry artist collection blocks throughout the day. After its on-air debut, "Unconditionally" will go also into rotation immediately on mtvU, MTV Hits and AMTV the following morning.
