Will Anyone Show Up For Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour?

EMA-winning singer talks to MTV News about how she's dealing with the stress over her upcoming trek.

Miley Cyrus stormed the 2013 MTV EMA stage on Sunday night, and much like she did at the VMAs back in August, she left a lot of controversy in her wake.

Between her alien-themed "We Can't Stop" performance and her the curious cigarette she smoked when she accepted the Best Video award for her Terry Richardson-directed "Wrecking Ball" clip, she left fans wondering: Is this a preview of her Bangerz Tour? Well, she's currently working that all out.

"I just want everything I do to feel like people going to a different world because people always make it seem I don't fit in to what this normal kind of world is. So I want to take people out of the normal world and go into my world," she explained to MTV News about the trek, which is getting a creative assist from Diane Martel, who worked with Cyrus on her "We Can't Stop" video and her VMAs performance.

"I think that's part of why I was inspired to have this alien theme for the EMAs. I just want it to feel like anything is possible and everything goes in the arena when I'm there, I'm pro everything," she added. "Everyone's loved. Everyone's accepted."

Cyrus will begin her Bangerz Tour in Vancouver on February 14, making stops all over North America, including dates in L.A., Chicago, Las Vegas, Nashville and New York City. It's her first big tour since 2011's Gypsy Heart tour, and Miley said that in addition to performing her Bangerz tracks, she'll also throw in "some throwback Thursday" jams.

"I'm ready to be on tour already. I wish I could skip past all the tours and all the rehearsals and all that and how many meltdowns 'cause I get very anxious," she said. "I'm a little bit obsessive compulsive. I mean I'm so obsessive compulsive my closet is in alphabetical order by designer, so I'm like that crazy. So when it comes down to a tour, it's like 24/7 insane thinking about what it's going to be, but that's the fun part."

While it's all a little stressful, in general, Miley tells us she's happier than ever.

"I couldn't find anything to complain about. Actually, I did something the other day where I had to do something where I was supposed to cry and I was looking at everything like trying to torture myself to make myself cry and I couldn't because I'm just like the happiest person ever," she said.

"And, so, it's crazy from the time I had started writing 'Wrecking Ball' and working on 'Wrecking Ball' to where I am even now, I mean people tell you that you're gonna change and you always think you're not gonna change, and then you constantly change," she continued. "And it keeps getting better and obviously I'm excited about my tour. I get nervous that I'm gonna get there and no one's going to show up, but hopefully some people show up."
