While you're busy eating lots of turkey and stuffing, some of the biggest names in pop will be spending Thanksgiving Day working. Everyone from Selena Gomez to Ariana Grande and Austin Mahone has locked in their plans for November 28.
Mahone and Grande will join Fall Out Boy, Fifth Harmony, Gavin DeGraw, Cher Lloyd, Kellie Pickler, Carrie Underwood (along with the cast from the live production of "The Sound of Music") as well as Jimmy Fallon and the Roots, who are all slated to make appearances at the 87th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which begins Thanksgiving Day at 9 a.m. ET in New York City.
Gomez, meanwhile, will spend Thanksgiving in her home state of Texas. She announced that she'll perform during the halftime show for the Dallas Cowboys taking place on Turkey Day. And her performance is even for a good cause. "I'm kicking off @SalvationArmyUS 's 123rd #RedKettleCampaign this Thanksgiving w/a halftime performance during the @DallasCowboys game!" she tweeted.
The Red Kettle Campaign provides food, coats, toys and more for those in need.
The game will take place against the Oakland Raiders at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. "I'm from Texas, so I'm a little nervous, I'm not going to lie. But I'm very honored and I hope that we come — me, my dancers and my band — and we give Texas a really good show and I make them proud," Gomez said in a statement.
