Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis will soon be a party of three. The couple confirmed they are expecting their first baby.

The actress tweeted about the baby news after reps confirmed it to People. "WOW. You guys are awesome. So kind. Thank you thank you thank you!" she tweeted. "PS. Babies eat mostly salsa right?"

The couple [article id="1700092"]announced their engagement back in January[/article] after they began dating in late 2011. Wilde had previously been married to Tao Ruspoli, but the [article id="1657494"]two separated in 2011[/article]. Meanwhile Sudeikis was previously married to "30 Rock" writer Kay Cannon. This is the first child for each of the actors.

Babies have been on the brain for Wilde for quite some time. She opened up about her desire to start a family last October in an interview with USA Today. "Yes, yes, absolutely. I think it would be great. My mom was a great example of having a professional life and having a kid. It can be done. No one is saying it's easy. But I'm totally inspired by the idea of being a badass working professional mom," she said. "I'm so into my dog. I can't imagine how I will smother my child."

And with one on the way, Wilde previously told Marie Clare how many kids she might want to have in the future. "He's so good with kids," she said earlier this year. "I'm open-minded about how many, but three is like a little party."
