Eminem’s MMLP2 Track List Reveals Kendrick Lamar, Nate Ruess And More

Skylar Grey and Rihanna will also feature on the November 5 album.

Eminem has released his Marshall Mathers LP 2 track list, and the features may or may not surprise you.

The album art, released along with the listing on his website, features a depiction of Em’s childhood home, 19946 Dresden Street. The fuzzy photo shows the house boarded up, the lawn grown over. The back of the album lists the songs on a “Condemned” notice, which has producers Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin’s names sitting at the bottom.

The first feature is Skylar Grey, who will appear on a song titled “A–hole.” Grey is no stranger to Em, as she wrote the rapper’s “Love the Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna. She also appeared on Dr. Dre’s “I Need A Doctor” and on Em’s supergroup Slaughterhouse’s album, Welcome to: Our House.

Rihanna has also collaborated with the Detroit rapper before, singing the hook on “Love the Way You Lie.” This time, she’ll sing “The Monster.”

Perhaps the most surprising of the features is Fun. frontman Nate Ruess. The indie-rock-gone-famous singer will appear on “Headlights.” No word on how the unlikely duo met (perhaps while recording respective duets on Pink’s album?), but the “Carry On” singer will add his vocals to Eminem’s angry raps on the new album, out November 5.

The album will of course feature singles “Berzerk” and “Survival,” the video for which was dropped Tuesday.

Kendrick Lamar, who had previously been photographed in the studio with Em, will feature on a song called “Love Game.” Lamar’s appearance is slightly surprising as well, seeing as he told MTV News he was just a fan back in June.

“No, I didn’t hear any new music,” Kendrick said when we asked him about the meetup. “I wish I coulda.” When we asked if they were cooking up music together, he said, “God willin’. I hope so.”

“It was unexpected,” the good kid MC said. “I just went to Detroit. I had a show out there and I got a call saying, ‘Come to the studio, fast.’ So we did it.”
