The Jonas Brothers shocked fans when they announced they were canceling their fall tour — originally scheduled to kick off Friday in Pennsylvania — due to “a deep rift within the band.” They cited “creative differences” as a cause for their internal discord.
Given that the trio had always shown a united front, even as they each pursued solo projects, the cancelation came out of left field for fans who had intended on seeing the guys during their 19-date trek and also loyalists who’ve stood by the JoBros since they dropped their debut album, It’s About Time, in 2006.
“I can’t read any article about the Jonas Brothers. I’m heartbroken. #fangirlproblems,” @diana_saravia shared, mirroring the sentiment of many of the brothers’ fans.
“Please just tell me that this is all a nightmare and @JonasBrothers are still together and I’m still going to see them on Saturday,” @TrueMrsBieberXO tweeted about the canceled tour.
@corinne4695 added, “I literally was meeting the @JonasBrothers in 8 days and they canceled their tour, brb balling my eyes out right now.”
Ticketholders will receive full refunds for the canceled dates, but that didn’t seem to be enough to console concertgoers. @SimSimaJB wrote, “Just got my refund email…….. @JonasBrothers do you hear my heart shattering into a million pieces? 3"

The band had been planning the release of their album, V, after dropping two singles (“Poms Poms” and “First Time” ), but now the question is whether that release is also up in the air. A rep for the band had no further update on the future of the album when contacted by MTV News on Wednesday (October 10). However, fans are hopeful that it will still see the light of day.
“Okay i believe that in the midst of this drama the Jonas Brothers should release V,” @zouisplz wrote.

Aside from Tuesday’s statement regarding the canceled trek, Nick, Joe and Kevin haven’t commented further about their “rift.” But fans know that no matter what the guys decide to do as a group, they will stick by each other for one really good reason.
