And now that the first episode is in the can, Ryan Murphy has released a promo image for the October 10 tribute episode to Cory Monteith, who died in July at age 31.
The image is a black-and-white photo of [article id="1710670"]Monteith[/article] with the tagline, "The hardest word to say is goodbye."

Details about the episode have been kept under wraps for the most part, but show creator Murphy did share that it would be a "heartfelt look at how young people grieve." He also noted that fans might not even learn how [article id="1712413"]Monteith's character, Finn, dies[/article].
"There were a lot of things that we had to decide — how are we going to deal with his death?" Murphy said over the summer. "At one point, we were going to have his character die after an accidental drug overdose — that was something we had considered. But we have decided that we're not going to have him pass from that.
"Basically, what we're doing in the episode is we are not telling you yet, or maybe not at all, how that character died," he explained." The idea being, how somebody died is interesting and maybe morbid, but we say very early on in the episode, 'This episode is about a celebration of that character's life.' "
In addition to that image, Lea Michele also tweeted out another first look from this season. The still features cast newcomers Demi Lovato and Adam Lambert in a band rehearsal with stars, including Lea, Chris Colfer and Naya Rivera.
