Rupert Grint's Butt Takes Center Stage In Exclusive 'CBGB' Clip

The former 'Harry Potter' star drops trou in the upcoming movie about the iconic rock club.

With each new movie that a member of the "Harry Potter" cast takes on, the world gets to see a new side of a young actor or actress that they have known since they were 10 or 11 years-old, so it can be kind of shocking experience for those that grew up with Emma, Rupert, and Dan.

In this exclusive clip from "CBGB," which hits theaters on October 11 and is a part of MTV News' Fall Movie Preview, we're seeing a very new side of Rupert Grint, specifically, his butt.

"CBGB" recounts the beginnings of New York City's punk rock scene and the future icons that passed through the doors of the legendary club. The cast of characters includes Debbie Harry, Iggy Pop, the Ramones, and Cheetah Chrome, the Dead Boys guitarist that Grint plays in the film.

Essentially, "CBGB" was a place with great music where just about anything could happen. Take this exclusive clip for example. In it, Cheetah Chrome is speaking with Genya Ravan (Stana Katic) at the bar. She comments on his red locks and asks if they are the genuine article or just a dye job.

Cheetah Chrome insists that his hair is, in fact, the real deal, but there's only one way to really convince her. That's when he drops trou, and we see a whole lot of Rupert Grint. Not exactly what you expected to see from the former Ron Weasley, huh?

Grint is joined in the cast by his former Hogwarts potion master Alan Rickman, Donal Logue, Ashley Greene, Justin Bartha, and Bradley Whitford.

"CBGB" opens in theaters everywhere later this year.
