One Direction Crown VMA Best Pop Video Winner: Find Out Who Won

The guys of 1D grace Brooklyn's Barclays Center to award Selena Gomez for 'Come & Get It.'

Following Lady Gaga at the MTV Video Music Awards might seem daunting, but when it comes to matching epic proportions, One Direction are there.

The fivesome stormed the stage, walking underneath the giant KAWS Moonman to their “Best Song Ever.” Wearing various shades of black and blue (and Liam’s red-plaid flannel tied to his waist) the guys carefully opened the VMA envelope.

Selena Gomez wins!

Despite Selenators screaming from their couches at home, Gomez’ biggest fan appeared to be seatmate and bestie Taylor Swift, who danced and did some energetic fist pumps in victory.

Gomez was up against Bruno Mars for “Locked Out of Heaven,” Miley Cyrus for “We Can’t Stop,” Justin Timberlake for “Mirrors” and fun. for “Carry On.”

“This is heavy, oh my goodness,” the Stars Dance singer said, taking a KAWS-designed Moonman. “This is an actual Moonman. Thank you so much. This has been such a great year for me and I wouldn’t have done it without you. This is so cool. Thank you. I love you guys. Take care.”
