Miley, Rihanna And Austin Mahone's Butt Are Ready For The VMAs

Twitter and Instagram lit up in the last 24 hours with updates from stars excited to party.

The stars are excited to head to Brooklyn's Barclays Center for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, and a lot of them have spent the past 24 hours hitting up every social media platform to prove it.

Everything that they've been looking forward to starts tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT with the VMA pre-show, leading up to the main show at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Before then, check out our round up of excited VMA tweets, Instragram photos, and even a video Austin Mahone's butt to get a better idea of how much they're looking forward to tonight.

Miley has made no secret of her excited for the VMAs, especially with tweets like the one that went out this afternoon.

And so did Bruno Mars.

A few artists, like 2 Chainz, still had a long way to go before getting to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. He sent an Instagram out of the "baby delta" that was taking him there.

Some artists looking forward to the VMAs might have some idea or predictions about who will walk away with the KAWS Moonmen. Take Rihanna for example. She Instagrammed a photo of what looks like two pillows embroided with "Best Female Video" and "VMA 2013" on them.

The night has been a long time coming for some of the guests, Ray Dalton in particular. The "Can't Hold Us" featured singer took to his Facebook to explain what tonight means to him. "My senior year of high school, I wrote in the yearbook that everyone should 'Catch me at the VMAs!' Today is a huge day. Not only am I walking my first red carpet, but I am also nominated for 4 VMA awards! Dreams come true!"

Things weren't looking good when VMA pre-show performer Austin Mahone tweeted that he was feeling under the weather, but by the time show day rolled around, he was feeling "a whole lot better," thanks in part to a shot he got to his butt, which he was kind enough of film for the world.

Pink got a shout out from CoverGirl, who wished their spokeswoman a good show.

And, we might be interpreting wrong, but it sounds like Wiz Khalifa is looking forward to hearing Robin Thicke.

Tune in tonight starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT for the VMAs red carpet pre-show before the night kicks off at 9 p.m. ET/PT for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
