Put your hands together, it's almost time for Lady Gaga to drop her new track, "Applause." On Wednesday (July 31), the singer hopped on Twitter and revealed some more details about her highly anticipated August 19 single off ARTPOP.

"The single 'Applause' and it's MUSIC VIDEO will BOTH debut on same day. ARTPOP. 8/19," she tweeted to her near 40 million followers. The video was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, who worked with Gaga on her "You And I" fashion films in 2011 as well as the artwork for "Applause," which she debuted earlier this week.

As if that wasn't enough new information for her Little Monsters, she also teased a few lines off the track, which she recorded with longtime collaborator and producer DJ White Shadow. She wrote, "Give me that thing that I love/ Put your hands up make 'em touch/ A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E."

Days after she premieres "Applause," Gaga is slated to take the stage on August 25 at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards taking place live at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

A "placeholder" app will be available on August 19, ahead of her album's November 11 release date. She added, "The APP is in essence, an interactive jewel case."
