No hip-hop show is complete without a set from 2 Chainz. And after the Atlanta rapper took the stage during the final hour of the 2013 BET Awards to perform his new single "Feds Watching," he brought on a couple of friends to assist him on "F---in' Problems."
As the opening lines of "Feds Watching" suggest, Chainz is all about his designer outfits these days and he didn't hold back on Sunday night, contrasting his white pants with a long-sleeve, black leather shirt and fringed sleeves. The stage literally erupted in flames when the Atlanta rapper touched down. And gyrating models joined him as he performed the Pharrell-produced track, which will appear on Deuce's upcoming sophomore album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time.
For his second song of the night, the artist formerly known as Tity Boi launched into A$AP Rocky's "F---kin' Problems," the smash hit that took over the airwaves last summer. A$AP, fresh off a win for the song for Best Collaboration, returned to the stage sporting a bandana and printed white tee as he spit his bars. Multiple-award-winner Kendrick Lamar was up next to deliver his own verse, after performing twice during the night (with Miguel and Erykah Badu).
Fans were thoroughly entertained by the performance and extremely amused by 2 Chainz's outfit. "2-Chainz on the BET awards looking like Macho Man Randy Savage with that outfit!!!" @isplilme joked, and @jaieesa_t wished he had a chance to close the show, adding, "I would have been perfectly fine with 2 chainz ending the BET Awards !!!"
