Following the video premiere, her first in over a year and a half, Selena will sit down for an exclusive 30-minute chat on MTV.com in front of some of her biggest Selenators. Gomez will also take questions from the audience, discuss her upcoming summer album and reveal her plans for her Stars Dance World Tour, which kicks off August 14 in Vancouver.
Can't wait until then? Selena is giving her fans first look of the video now and is urging her fans to tune in on May 7.
In the teaser clip of the video we see the singer looking more sultry, sensual and confident than ever before. In a long black dress, Selena saunters in front of a line of mirrors in a large field surrounded by flowers. She looks longingly into a mystery man's eyes before braving the earth elements as she swims and then moves with a group of dancers in front of a fire — a feel reminiscent to her recent 2013 MTV Movie Awards "tribal feel" performance. "Come & Get It" is the lead single off her upcoming fourth album, which she has said will be a much more revealing album then her previous efforts.
"I think for me it was actually interesting to see that towards the middle of me recording my record, a big turn happened to me and it was incredible to see how I applied that to music because I've never done that before and it's great," Gomez told MTV News in January. "I think the older I'm getting, the more I'm just kind of like I'm cool to share my side of the stories as much as I can, so I'm having a lot of fun."
